Whoa, it's been a while.
I'm in a holding pattern right now. School is out for a couple of weeks and I seem to be fairly caught up with my life right now.
This morning, I am working on an eclass for my Polish Moodle course and thinking about how to set up a class for advanced Study Group Host at Learning Times. Actually, I am trying to figure out if I can combine the two things and kill two birds with one stone. That is, I will creat the class in the Moodle course and demo it in the Learning Times classroom.
In the meantime, we had a great session last night at Global Virtual Coaching Study Group. The guest speaker was Jeremy Bach, Senior Partner and Editor in Cheif at Anchor Point NLP. He gave a great speech and in fact the group lingered on the conference line for a while after the call. Later, I got a nice thank you from Gloria who was one of the people who stayed around for extra insight. These sessions just get better and better.
Next week, Thomas Jarrett joins GVCSG for a round on Rational Emotive Behavior Coaching on Tuesday and follow that up on Wednesday with Steve Davis presenting a session on Spiral Dynamics and how it relates to Designing Environments from the Coachville Micro-modules. There is then still one remaining session in the Programming Your Brain Sessions, and that is Barbara Sloan on Appreciative Inquiry and Coaching on the first Wednesday in June. After that, there are four weeks of Neuro Linguistic Programming and how it relates to Coaching.
I am still a little miffed about Coachville's insistence that the Study Group Hosts have to use Coachville materials in order to qualify as a Coachville Study Group Host, but I guess I will get over it. It's fortunate in some ways that the entire thing even came up. It gave me enough insight to realize that I don't have to have their permission to set up a study group, as long as I don't identify it with Coachville, and that in turn gives me an opportunity to set up the advanced study group hosts training that I am working on at Learning Times. It think it is Coachville's loss, but it gives me a much broader range of resources to use.
Thats what I am working on in the Polish Moodle course,...the first session of the advanced study group host training. The first session will be on the use e-lists as a resource for training. It's really starting to come together well now.
Well, I see by the clock that I need to draw this to a close. I have a session in Elluminate at 12:00 so I want to got there and get ready for that.
Later dudes, and dudettes,
